Bud's FIV Therapy

Have a question about FIV? A lot of questions? Wondering if you can do something about it? Welcome to the complete FIV resource, a fully researched exploration of all aspects of the feline immunodeficiency virus. It exists because of Bud, an orange tabby taken in long ago as a stray and FIV positive when first tested in December, 1993 at the approximate age of two. This website is his headstone. In Memoriam. Bud was one of only two companion cats in the world that the owner is aware of who received an HIV HAART regimen of antiviral drugs (a.k.a. “triple cocktail”). Later he achieved documented viral suppression below detectable levels with herbs and other nonprescription supplements. This site describes his complete therapy, as well as others, both established and experimental. It also offers a guideline to FIV therapy, a timeline of Bud’s FIV-related symptoms and FIV-specific treatment, a record of the performance of therapeutic agents, hypothetical programs for various stages of FIV infection, and much more. One of its new features provides analysis of and preferred treatments for the diseases most commonly associated with FIV. Please consult the Sitemap for a complete menu of topics. . . and let me know if I can help.
